Written by Rob John [fEast Theatre: The Canada Boys, Into thin Air]
Directed by Simon Floyd [The Common Lot: Come Yew In!, 1549: The Story of Kett’s Rebellion]
'Stories Down the Line' was performed in September 2019 at a number of locations on Marriott's Way
The cast and singers were recruited from the communities along our historic line.
Performed to over 500 people among woodlands, embankments and abandoned railway platforms.
Each Act told a tale of the ‘time passengers’ whose lives were closely linked with history and fortunes of the railways.
Through a heady blend of drama, dance and song Stories Down the Line explored 150 years of Norfolk history and celebrate the extraordinary 26 mile ‘green corridor’ that has become the Marriott’s Way.
Our Cast and Crew were all project volunteers and were a fabulously committed and enthusiastic team to work with.
