Our cast and singers will be recruited from the communities along that historic line.
Our stages will be woodlands, embankments and abandoned railway platforms.
Our characters will be the ‘time passengers’ whose lives were closely linked with history and fortunes of the railways.
Through a heady blend of drama, dance, song, procession, percussion, light and sound Stories Down the Line will explore 150 years of Norfolk history and celebrate the extraordinary 26 mile ‘green corridor’ that has become the present day Marriott’s Way.
Join the Marriott's Way Heritage Trail's Education Officer, Maddy Goodall, for a short nature-themed story walk starting at the Marlpit Community Centre. The morning will include a story, a walk and some simple craft activities, as well as refreshments!
Join us on a quest to find and identify 50 wildflowers! Come along with NWT's David North for an introduction to the identification and recording of wildflowers. The session will begin indoors with an overview of different wildflower species and continue with a walk along Marriott's Way to find as many as possible.Places are limited, so please stay tuned for the link to book.
