Designed to introduce students to the rapid industrialization of the Victorian period, as seen in the vast and ambitious engineering projects of England’s rail network, this interactive session will cover the building and managing of the railway, including elements of art, science and maths.
Generally, this session is offered at Whitwell & Reepham Station, where students can ride a train, handle tools and railway objects, and experience a restored Victorian station first hand.
